I think it's so cute how every Tuesday & Thursday mornings, after my Pilates class, when I pass by the downstairs weight room of my gym (where the "macho" men tend to flock), I hear 80s love ballads bumpin', haha!

- Carmel's the name and speech is my game. I'm a 25 year old aspiring speech pathologist about to embark in a 2-year graduate program at the University of Washington. Before that, I got my degree in linguistics. I love languages and studying communication. I also love cheese, traveling, stilettos, jogging, yoga, knitting, crocheting, and baking. You can say, I'm a bit of a hobby whore :). I started this blog essentially to document my time in grad school. There may be a lot of ranting. There may be a lot of stressing.
